Meeting of Committee Chairpersons

The Meeting of Committee Chairpersons plays an important role in coordinating the activities of the various committees, in settling any disputes between committees, and in expressing opinions on proposals regarding the operation of the committees. The Speaker convokes and chairs the sittings of the Meeting of Committee Chairpersons. The Meeting sits as necessary. Any member of the Meeting may initiate at the Speaker the convening of the Meeting’s sitting.
